| I'm a little pedantic when it comes to car care and detailing and I've tried many of the ordinary over the counter products available in Australia. I first read about zymöl a few years ago in the European Porsche magazines. When I heard it was available in Australia I couldn't help but give it a try.
It's not as cheap as the proprietary brands we are so used to in this country, but we all know you get what you pay for, and in my opinion zymöl is proof of this theory. From its all natural ingredients and fantastic smell right down to the ease with which all of the products can be applied.
I purchased one of the zymöl packs and can confirm that zymöl really is a new experience. I started by claying the car to remove impurities attached to the paint. I then cleansed the paint in preparation for the application of wax. Each stage of the process saw the paintwork markedly improve but the result after waxing was really worth all of the effort. The paint came up deep and wet looking. Another layer of wax and it was better again!
I used the Titanium Wax which is applied by hand and this in itself is a fantastic experience. Once you are used to melting the wax in your palms and using your hands to spread a thin layer over your paintwork, it's hard to imagine going back to the foam applicator.
I'll be using zymöl again and can definitely recommend it for ease of use and finished result, it is a quality product. I also found the staff to be very helpful and professional, which further enhanced the experience.
